You get a regular street address and USPS mailbox at the street. The sites are very bare bones, with gravel pads that are pretty level, picnic tables at two of the sites but no patios, full-hookups, and grass is mowed religiously by on-site caretaker who lives just two doors down and is a bit nosy.
The sites sit right on Bull Neck Creek. This is a blessing and a curse. Great views of the water, fishing, and lots of waterfowl, but the area is prone to flooding, and the sites get boggy fast. We often find ourselves stepping out our door and into a puddle after a big rain. In the event of a tropical storm, hurricane, or unusually high tides you will have to evacuate. The driveway into the sites is not paved so gets rutty and muddy in snow and rain.

We booked this site because of the sites on the water. Our site was well located for view of the Bush River. Unfortunately, there was high water when we were there that actually inundated our fire pit and made access to our car difficult because of the water. We had neighboring sites that people stepped out of their RV into inches of water.
Marylanx day we got there, they had a high water event that left debris all over the sites and roadways; No-one from the park staff made any effort to clean up the mess. This an older family run park that is in real need of some TLC.
Pleasant campground host was kept busy trimming low hanging branches and repairing electrical hook-ups on multiple sites. The cause of the needed repairs was previous installation of poor quality sockets. Scenic and woodsy. Reiterating what others have stated: approach from the west and you're Neat approach from the east and beware the 11 foot bridge and we saw NO warning signs!!
As others have stated, this is a great state park to get away from it all with a classic feel and hiking trails, pavillions, ranger programs and the quiet of the woods at night. We didn't explore the trails or woods as we used this as a base for exploring Baltimore, so we went into the city every day. Our site wasthe last on the electric loop, which is very long and has the added advantage that you can go the wrong way on the one way road for about 20 yards and pull right Shavede pussy your driveway without having to go all the way around the loop when returning to camp.

Easy access into Baltimore. Most sites are spacious and look easy to get into. Rest rooms were dirty and didn't appear to be cleaned during our stay. Our site was very difficult to get into, though the campground hosts were familiar with it and spent a half hour with us helping us Nespot swing our rig back and forth to get in.
We made a list of sites we will use next time, which does NOT include - avoid that site if you have anything other than a small trailer or class B camper. Road was a one-way road, but park was not crowded, so it wasn't a problem. Our site was very convenient to all amenities - pool, showers, camp store, and playground. You can take in the sites of Baltimore or tour other quaint coastal communities, but whatever you do, be sure to sample some of Maryland's famed blue crabs.
